�That�s a long story, Dad. It finally sounds right, me calling you �Dad�.

�Well, we have all the time in the world.� Korinne said.

�Why don�t we all sit at the table, and we�ll explain over some lunch,� Ashley suggested.

They all went into the kitchen and sat down at the table, which was big enough to fit all of them.

Ashley put Alex and Alexia in their high chairs and started fixing their bottles.

Andros started fixing everyone�s sandwiches. Ashley got finished before Andros did, and started feeding Alex and Alexandria.

�Do you need any help in there, son?� Korinne called. Kiya had also gotten up, went into the kitchen, and started helping make the sandwiches.

�Well. I could use some help with the drinks.�

Korinne got up and went into the kitchen.

�The glasses are...� she started.

�In there.� Kiya told her, pointing to the cabinet.

Korinne opened the cabinet and got out nine glasses.

�Everyone drinks Kool-aid.� Andros said.

Kiya went to the tallest cabinet, opened it, and got out two trays from the bottom. She carried both over, put one next to the glasses and one next to the sandwiches.

�These have been washed, right?� Andros asked.

�Yes, sir.�

Andros put the sandwiches on the tray. Korinne had gotten the Kool-aid out and poured the glasses. Kiya carried the sandwiches to the table.

�The drinks are coming.� she said. Korinne came behind her and put the drinks on the table as well.

Everyone got a sandwich and a glass.

�Isn�t anyone going to use a paper towel?� Ashley asked. Andros came in and handed out paper towels.

�I knew my wife would want us to use paper towels.�

After everyone had sat back down and started eating, Andros started his explanation.

�Well, you remember that attack somewhere on KO-39? Before the last and most devastating attack?�

�Yes. You, Zhane and the other Rangers were off on the Mega Ship fighting that monster.�

�Yes. And when we came back, we found the planet deserted.�

�Yes. Your mother and I, along with several other citizens, had taken the Med-Ship (the back-up ship in case the Mega-Ship was out of commission, whether temporarily or permanently) and escaped to try to find another home.�

�We buried the dead, took the wounded aboard the Mega-ship, and took off to try to find you. I wanted to find Karone, as well.�

�Yes. We thought you would. Andros, it wasn�t your fault your sister was kidnapped.�

�I know that now. Well, after several years, the other Rangers decided to stay on various planets, as did all of the survivors. Ashley and her team of Turbo Rangers came to space to look for their original mentor, Zordon of Eltar. They docked aboard my ship and after some convincing from D.E.C.A. that I needed some human companionship, I let them be Astro Rangers.�

Andros paused to take a bite, a sip, and a big breath.

�Zhane had taken a major hit from one of Astronema�s monsters and slipped into a comma. I fell in love with Ashley, and after I destroyed Zordon- it was his request-and found Karone-who lives at 119 Thurley Drive- who was brainwashed into believing that we had killed her family, she was kidnapped by Darkonda- we landed here on Earth and got married. Then we had Atarrah here.�

�What a story.�

�Yes. Kiya is fifteen, Atarrah is thirteen, Darnell is twelve, Vera is eleven, Andrew is eight, and Alexander and Alexandria are both four months.�

�Oh, Andros, We�re so proud of you. Taking on a new team, finding your sister, marrying, having six children.�

Everyone had finished their sandwiches and Kool-aid.

�May we go see Karone, now?� Drerick asked Korinne.

�Of course. I want to see my daughter after all these years.�

�We�ll go with you.� Andros said.

�If I know Dad, he built the car out there with a mini D.E.C.A. on board who can actually drive the car to whatever address you give her.�

�Yes, I did, and yes, she can.�

Everyone got ready to visit Karone, Zhane, and their children.

Andros and his family piled into their van.

Drerick and Korinne got into their car.

Andros drove to Karone and Zhane�s.

Drerick and Korinne followed.

Andros got out at Karone�s and ran up the walk. Everyone else followed suit. Kiya knocked on the door. Zhane, holding his youngest son, opened the door.

�Well, this is a surprise. Come in, come in.�

They went in. Zhane saw his adoptive parents and in-laws

�Mom? Dad? Is it really you?�

�Yes, Zhane. The people who took you in after your parents died of lymphoma are not themselves dead.�

�But how...?�

�The attack we were fighting on KO-39 was a decoy. The real attack was on our home planet.�

�Yes. I saw that myself. But how...�

�They and several other citizens escaped in the med-ship to find another home planet.�

�Karone! Kelly! Kathy! Leonard! Leland!�

Karone, carrying Kira and Kerensa, came in, followed by Kelly carrying Lloyd, followed by Kathy, Leonard, and Leland.

�Karone! Baby girl!� Korinne cried.

She ran to her daughter, who handed her daughters to Leonard and ran to greet her mother.

�Mamma!� They hugged. Her mother was close to cutting off her daughter�s air, but Karone didn�t care. She was finally back in her mother�s arms, where she had dreamed of being ever since her first memory had come back.

The kids looked at their uncle and cousins for an explanation.

�Kids, you know how your mother was kidnapped when she was three.�

�Oh. No wonder.� Kathy said.

�Is he Grandad?� Leonard asked, indicating Drerick with his head.

�Yes.�

The kids went over and hugged their grandfather. Leonard kissed him, since he had his hands full. Karone came over and took the babies from his arms.

�Mom, Dad, I�d like you to meet Kelly, twelve, her twin Leonard, Kathy, eight, Leland, nine, and Kira, Kerensa, Lloyd, and Zhane, jr., all two months.�

�Twins and quadruplets. Quadruplets don�t run in our family, but twins do.�

�They do?�

�Yes. You and Andros are twins, then there are your twin aunts Beverly and Kimberly, my sisters, there�s my aunts, Jennifer and Jacqueline, our cousins Beverly and Kevin, and Kiya had a still born brother who would have been named Charlie.�

�How come I�ve never heard of him?�

�We thought it would hurt you to know. It would make you sad.�

�It does.�

�But there was nothing the doctors or your mother or father could have done.� Kiya understood.

�We�re moving here, Drerick.�

�We�ll need to find a house, jobs, doctors, a bank...�

�I can help you out with the job, Mom. The school I work at needs a new receptionist, and I know you�ll be perfect for the job.� Karone said. Drerick tried to take Zhane, jr. from Zhane. He started to cry, and Drerick just let his adopted son hold him.

�And you can use our bank; we�ll help you find a house, and doctors.�

Zhane said.

Korinne was getting excited.

�What about the house next to ours?� Karone asked.

�It isn�t expensive, it doesn�t need a lot of fixing up; It�s perfect for Mom & Dad. Not that I think Mom and Dad can�t handle simple repairs.�

�Especially with our strapping adopted son living right beside us.�

It took several days to get all of it taken care of, but it seemed like it took no time at all before Korinne and Drerick were living and working beside their children.
